Finley is located just 20 minutes drive from the Victorian border. Geographically Finley is an interstate link, at the junction of the busy Newell and Riverine Highways and only a 3 hour drive from Melbourne. Agricultural production includes cereal crops, oilseeds, vegetables, pastures, citrus and fruits. Finley also boasts a strong dairy industry. One of Finley's main strengths comes from its excellent irrigation system, which has enabled Finley to become one of the  great rice growing areas of Australia.
